As a woman, smoking weed can be two things:

1. Super attractive

2. A turn off

For many years, engaging in 420 activities has been frowned upon in society and it has slowly but surely became more socially acceptable in recent years. You can’t fight the strong scent of ganja but there’s so many ways to consume outside of smoking a spliff. However you decide to consume, it will allow you to gain a new experience each time. Femininity can be defined in a way that makes sense to you and your personal lifestyle. Indulging in cannabis is a form of wellness for many and finding new ways to embrace it without facing time is a skill that any stoner can appreciate.

I know a lot of women would rather die before smoking a spliff but it’s more common for women to indulge in cannibas than men. Although it’s not commonly spoken about openly, behind the scenes we get lit ; no pun intended. Even in todays society, it’s frowned upon for women to smoke, and guess what ? We don’t give a fuck. The idea of maintaining a stereotypically classy appeal is no longer necessary in order to prove your femininity to others. It’s about time that women finally can own being their authentic self without being ridiculed and judged. At the end of the day, weed has been lead to many more health benefits than any other drug.

The Benefits of cannabis :

  • Lowering blood pressure
  • Reducing inflammation.
  • Preventing relapse in drug and alcohol addiction
  • Treating anxiety disorders
  • Treating gastrointestinal (GI) disorders
  • Preventing seizures
  • Fighting cancer
  • Makes you 100% sexier

Recently, I began searching for woman owned CBD/THC businesses to connect with and the first company that caught my eye was Blazin Beauty Luxe. I truly admire what the company stands for and over the past few weeks, I’ve gotten to know the CEO Fatima personally and it’s been such a liberating experience. Merging beauty and cannabis in one space is one of the most innovative ways for an everyday woman to relate and support. Blazin Beauty Luxe is dedicated to creating a safe space for female centered cannabis culture through normalizing and destigmatizing cannabis use amongst women.

“Blazin’ Beauty Luxe is on a mission to revolutionize self-care & the beauty industry with effective, more accessible holistic beauty products for the cannabis consumers everyday needs.”

a combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight.

 \ ˈblā-ziŋ

Present participle of ‘blaze’ describing the state of maximum intoxication caused by the ingestion of a hallucinogenic substance.

  1. expensive and of high quality; luxurious.

𝙸𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞’𝚛𝚎 𝚎𝚗𝚓𝚘𝚢𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚋𝚕𝚘𝚐 𝚙𝚘𝚜𝚝, 𝚋𝚎 𝚜𝚞𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎, 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚜𝚘𝚌𝚒𝚊𝚕𝚜 🫶🏾

Over the past few years, the beauty industry has been in a stagnant space due to the redundant or obnoxious trends and lack of diversity from paid opportunities to companies only producing 3 foundation shades with each launch. Coming across companies such as Blazin Beauty has inspired the need to elaborate on the need for women to live authentically and to create the opportunities we want to see. For a very long time, women dominated the beauty industry with masculine standards which limited the evolution and creativity between companies and artist. If more companies invested in rebranding to create a more authentic approach to modern day beauty, I truly think it will push the limits a bit further than what we’ve seen within the past 10 years.

I love meeting new stoner baddies who are shamelessly living authentically while working, going to school, being a mom, ect. It’s just further confirmation that women can literally do anything because we are divine beings. Women are allowed to enjoy cannabis in any way they feel best fit. Unlike other “drugs”, THC can be consumed in various ways that can still be discreet. There’s no need to stigmatize women for having fun, it’s not the 1800’s so get a grip.Whether you’re rolling up a joint or applying your CBD infused lip gloss, you are entitled to enjoy the luxuries things in life.
